However, if you, like me, have the same problem whereby it only copies a few songs, follow these simple instructions:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Step 1: Right click the HTC Sync icon in the system tray, and click Exit.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lukestratton.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/Icon.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"HTC Sync Icon\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.lukestratton.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/Icon.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"255\" \/><\/a>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Step 2:\u00c2\u00a0Press the Windows Key + R. In the box, type %appdata%\u00c2\u00a0 and press enter.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lukestratton.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/Run-box.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Type %appdata% into the 'Run' box\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.lukestratton.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/Run-box-300x153.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"153\" \/><\/a>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Step 3: Highlight the two references to HTC in the window which appears, and press Shift + Delete.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lukestratton.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/HTC.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Delete the two HTC folders which are displayed in the window\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.lukestratton.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/HTC.jpg\" width=\"606\" height=\"62\" \/><\/a>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Step 4: Re-open HTC Sync, select what you require to be\u00c2\u00a0synchronized\u00c2\u00a0and click Sync Now.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>By resetting the software in this way, any problems you were previously having should now be solved.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Disclaimer: Although the instructions above should not cause you to lose data, I cannot accept\u00c2\u00a0responsibility for any data loss which you may encounter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HTC have recognized that iTunes is the largest online music store and management system, and have provided the useful facility to sync selected playlists or all songs from iTunes to your HTC phone via HTC Sync.
